Why are you stepping up as a Mentor?
I want to give back. I have been lucky to meet excellent informal mentors in 2006 while I was developing the microfinance project at BNP Paribas. The cubicle warrior toolkit by Maggie de Pree has been a fantastic guide for me. I mentioned it as a reference in my book « le guide de l’intrapreneur social » published in 2015 in France.
In what ways can you support intrapreneurs?
First listen, then speak. Understand the motivation of the intrapreneur. Help him/her to identify his strengths and weaknesses, in order to find the suitable partners for his/ her project. Help him/ her to pivot when necessary and to try again and again until success comes.
Why is mentorship important for intrapreneurs?
Nobody can start alone to climb a mountain. You can find the method in many excellent books, but the card is not the territory. You need a guide who knows by his own experience the obstacles and is able to help you find a path in stormy weather.
Why should intrapreneurs be part of the League?
To meet other intrapreneurs, learn from their successes and failures, find partners for their projects, and last but not least have fun !
