ABOUT

This October, members of the League community will come together in Brazil for a series of connected experiences designed to nourish both the inner and outer work of intrapreneurship.

Whether you're looking for space to pause and reconnect, to engage with peers tackling complex challenges, or to experience Brazil through the lens of community, resilience, and regeneration, you can choose the experience that best suits your interests and availability.

The Brazil journey unfolds across two connected experiences:

  • League Community Retreat (October 27-30 | Minas Gerais)

  • Rio Community Weekender (October 30-31 | Rio de Janeiro)

You can join either experience independently or participate in the full journey.

Experience 1 | League Community Retreat

October 27-30 | Minas Gerais

Collective Pause – Cultivating the Inner Capacities for a Regenerative Future

Before we gather online as a global community during Global Intrapreneur Week, we begin by gathering on the land.

Hosted on a regenerative farm in Matias Barbosa (State of Minas Gerais, near Juiz de Fora) - surrounded by rolling hills, wide skies, and the steady rhythm of the land - the Retreat offers three days of spaciousness to step back from the urgency of everyday work, reconnect with yourself and others, and reflect on the deeper questions shaping your leadership and impact.

Designed around the theme Collective Pause, this experience explores the inner capacities required to sustain courageous action inside complex systems. Across three days, the Retreat combines guided reflection, community dialogue, time in nature, shared meals and spacious moments for integration. Each day follows a gentle rhythm of morning practice, facilitated sessions, community circles and opportunities to pause, reconnect and reflect alongside fellow participants.

Over three days, participants will experience:

  • Guided reflection and facilitated dialogue

  • Time in nature, including land-based activities and moments for quiet reflection.

  • Hands-on regenerative activities, including tree planting

  • Shared meals and informal connection throughout the retreat

  • Opportunities to connect with fellow intrapreneurs from around the world

  • Spaciousness to pause, recharge and integrate

Experience 2 | Rio Community Weekender

October 30-31 | Rio de Janeiro

From reflection to collective action

Following the League Community Retreat, participants have the opportunity to continue the experience in Rio for the Community Weekender - bringing together members of the League community, Action Fellowship participants and Brazilian organizations for two days of learning, connection and exploration.

Those joining the Rio Community Weekender can also participate directly without attending the Retreat.

Friday - Oct 30

Learning from Brazil

Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Brazil through a series of curated visits and conversations with organizations, institutions, and local leaders in Rio de Janeiro. We'll explore themes such as innovation, inclusion, resilience, systems transformation, regenerative leadership, and Brazil's unique social, cultural, and historical context.

Planned visits may include:

  • A visit to a leading organization exploring innovation and transformation in practice.

  • Conversations with public sector leaders exploring resilience, anti-fragility, and systems transformation.

  • A curated experience offering insight into Rio's history and its role in shaping contemporary Brazil.

Saturday - Oct 31

Learning from communities

Saturday offers the opportunity to continue learning through a community-based experience in Rio. We'll explore local perspectives on resilience, belonging, and collective action, creating space to connect the insights from Brazil with our own work and contexts.

Planned visit may include:

  • A community-led experience offering insight into local approaches to resilience, inclusion, and community leadership.

(The programme is currently being confirmed with our local partners and is subject to change.)
