Collective Pause – Observing the Inner Edge of the Intrapreneurship Ecosystem

From Planetary Boundaries to Human Capacities

In 2025, Global Intrapreneur Week explored Planetary Boundaries: Redefining Leadership for a Regenerative Future, asking what it means to lead and create change within the limits of a living planet. We explored climate thresholds, biodiversity loss and resource constraints, and what these boundaries ask of those working to shift systems from within.

In 2026, we turn the lens inward.

Collective Pause is an invitation to explore the human capacities that shape how we work within complex systems, and what might become possible when we make space to pause, notice and reconnect before moving forward.

Across the intrapreneurship ecosystem, people are working at the edge of institutions, navigating ambition and constraint, vision and bureaucracy, hope and fatigue. The work asks a lot of us: strategically, relationally and personally.

We will explore:

⏸️ What human qualities help us work regeneratively inside complex systems?

⏸️ What does leadership feel like, not just look like, when it is rooted in presence?

⏸️ How might we rethink the economies, institutions and systems we are working within?

⏸️ What becomes possible when we pause together rather than pushing alone?

Across the week, we’ll bring together different perspectives through conversations, shared inquiry, reflection and community gatherings. We’ll explore regeneration from multiple angles -  from the inner capacities we bring to the work, to the economies and systems we are trying to reshape.

The program includes conversations on:

• Intrapreneurship for a regenerative economy,

• 'Leading change from within: A global conversation on intrapreneurship', for the launch of one of our fellow's book

• and, opportunities to reconnect with the wider League community - with more sessions to be announced as the program takes shape.

Collective Pause is a chance to look more closely at the human conditions that make planetary and systemic work possible - how we listen, hold tension, build relationships, sustain ourselves and each other, and find new ways forward.
