    Catherine Connors

    Catherine Connors is the CEO of the League of Badass Women, a private global network of female leaders, innovators, and change-agents. She’s the former Editor in Chief of Babble Media and former head of content for The Walt Disney Company’s digital division. After leaving Disney, she co-founded Maverick, a venture-backed digital platform for collaboration between girls and young women that was named one of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies in 2019, and co-authored the critically acclaimed The Feminine Revolution (Seal Press, November 2018). Catherine is based in Los Angeles, California.

    Holly Gordon

    Holly Gordon is the Chief Impact Officer at Participant, overseeing all the company’s social impact campaigns and further strengthening Participant’s mission to create storytelling that inspires social change. These global, multi-year campaigns are driven by the company’s content and powered by strategic partnerships to address the most important issues of our time.

    Prior to joining Participant, Gordon co-founded Girl Rising, a global campaign for girls’ education. Selected by Fast Company as a member of the League of Extraordinary Women and named by Newsweek/Daily Beast as one of 125 Women of Impact, Gordon is also an Executive Producer for the Girl Rising film at the center of the movement. Forbes Magazine named the Girl Rising campaign the #1 Most Dynamic Social Initiative of 2012. In 2015, Holly was selected as a Presidential Leadership Scholar.

    Michael Streefland

    Michael Streefland is a strategic marketing and communications consultant helping organizations at the intersection of media, entertainment, and social community tell impactful business stories; his clients have included Facebook, The Walt Disney Company, and Univision Communications. Streefland started his career working in television and new media for NBCUniversal, Hearst Interactive, and Former Vice President Al Gore’s cable start-up Current TV. He has an MFA from USC School of Cinematic Arts, and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

  • Sasha Leigh Henry
    Sasha Leigh Henry

    Sasha Leigh Henry is a Toronto-based filmmaker and content producer. Her most recent film Bitches Love Brunch screened internationally playing at the Cambridge Film Festival, San Francisco Film Festival, and the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival. As a producer Sasha has helped bring numerous films to screen including Randall Okita’s Canadian Screen Award winner The Lockpicker and Kelly Fyffe-Marshall’s sophomore film Marathon + Black Bodies.

    Sasha is currently in development for an original comedy series about a millennial black woman and her imaginary hype girl. A frequent panelist and speaker, Sasha is also an alumni of POV 3rd Street and Black Women Film, and was recently featured in a TIFFxRBC collaboration highlighting up and coming women in the arts.

    A big comedy fan, Sasha spends most of her free time watching stand-up, writing to-do lists, and wondering how on earth sushi burritos became a “thing”.
