Mainstreaming social intrapreneurship to re-imagine and re-build India
The haunting images of Indian migrant workers over the last few weeks have exposed the lack of social safety nets for India’s most vulnerable people.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, waves of corporate lay-offs and severely depressed earnings have also exposed the lack of resilience of India’s corporates and SMEs.
There is an urgent need to re-imagine and re-build business models that are both resilient and human centered.
Social intrapreneurs and the tremendous resources they can leverage are a powerful, barely tapped, force for change. It is time to mainstream social intrapreneurship across India.
This practitioner-led session will draw inspiration from stories of social intrapreneurs changing business across India, understand the challenges they faced and how they overcame them.
We will then, together, re-imagine new intrapreneurial opportunities for India and come together to co-create a supporting ecosystem for concrete action.
