Shaping the system through issue selling
Systems change is an ambitious goal and can be an overwhelming task for individual change-makers. In working towards systems change, a key task for change agents is to engage people in power to raise attention to important issues and shape understanding of how these issues might be solved. Organizational scholars call this activity “issue selling”.
In this session, we want to create a shared learning experience around what we know based on research and by adding the issue selling experience of the global intrapreneur community.
As a result, we intend to empower participants to understand their role in the system and reach unlikely allies. We want to use the insights created in this session to guide our on-going research in this area and to write a blogpost in which we share an overview of our learning experience with the community.
