Otto Scharmer, a Senior Lecturer in the MIT Management Sloan School and co-founder of the Presencing Institute. will help set the context exploring leadership in times of exponential change.
Florencia Estrade and Maggie De Pree, co-founders of the League of Intrapreneurs, will bring in voices of intrapreneurs from around the world and will create space for you to connect with your own power and to meet fellow co-travelers.

Entrepreneur, strategist, passionate about how business can create positive impact and how people can find meaning at work. Florencia is Director of the League of Intrapreneurs, a global learning community with the mission to unlock the human potential inside large organizations to create a better future. She is an experienced facilitator, coaching groups and individuals throughout transformation journeys, and innovation processes. Florencia has more than 10 years of experience inside large corporations as ABN Amro Bank and McKinsey as well as a social entrepreneur having founded Cria Global (impact based innovation consultancy) and Pipa (accelerator for impact-driven start-ups in Brazil) and having worked closely as a mentor of various Ashoka Fellows. She holds an MBA from UC Berkeley, a BA in International Business and is a certified facilitator in Theory U. Florencia is today based in Punta del Este, Uruguay, mother of two girls Maia and Sofia.
Maggie De Pree
Maggie De Pree believes in the power of human agency—the ability for people to choose to make a difference in the world. She has spent over a decade harnessing the innovation potential of businesses—big and small—to address issues ranging from climate change to healthcare. Maggie is a Co-founder and Global Director of The League of Intrapreneurs and an entrepreneur and strategist, working to advance systems change with Fortune 500 companies, governments, and NGOs. She is a recipient of the Grant Thornton 100
Faces of a Vibrant Economy Award and regularly speaks and writes on the topic of sustainable innovation and intrapreneurship. She is co-author of The Intrapreneurs Guide to Pathfinding and The Social Intrapreneur: A Field Guide for Corporate Changemakers.
Otto Scharmer is a Senior Lecturer in the MIT Management Sloan School and co-founder of the Presencing Institute. He chairs the MIT IDEAS program for cross-sector innovation and introduced the concept of “presencing”—learning from the emerging future—in his bestselling books Theory U and Presence (the latter co-authored with P. Senge et al). His most recent book, The Essentials of Theory U, summarizes the core principles and applications of awareness-based systems change.
In 2015, Otto co-founded the MITx u.lab, which has since activated a global eco-system of transformational change involving more than 160,000 users from 185 countries. In March 2020, Otto and his colleagues at the Presencing Institute launched GAIA (Global Activation of Intention and Action), a free, online, deep learning journey, geared toward profound personal, societal, and planetary renewal.
Otto earned his diploma and PhD in economics from Witten/Herdecke University in Germany. He received the Jamieson Prize for Teaching Excellence at MIT, the European Leonardo Corporate Learning Award and is a member of the World Future Council. The United Nations Deputy Secretary-General appointed him to the UN Learning Advisory Council for the 2030 Agenda.
