Faces of a Vibrant Economy Award and regularly speaks and writes on the topic of sustainable innovation and intrapreneurship. She is co-author of The Intrapreneurs Guide to Pathfinding and The Social Intrapreneur: A Field Guide for Corporate Changemakers.
Rob Acker is the CEO of Salesforce.org, a dedicated social impact team at Salesforce working to provide the world’s #1 CRM to the nonprofit, education, and philanthropy sectors. Rob believes those working to change the world should have the tools and technology to do so and he was integral in creating the organization’s revolutionary business model.
Rob applied his results-oriented and data-driven practices, learned from more than 15 years of experience in various leadership positions at Salesforce.com, to his role at Salesforce.org, growing it into one of the most innovative corporate philanthropies in the world. The organization has since scaled its customer base by 10 times, annual grants by 4 times, and become a leading example of the power of technology-for-good. He is the 2019 Recipient of the Corporate Social Intrapreneur of the Year award from the Schwab Foundation at World Economic Forum and is a frequent speaker at the World Economic Forum in Davos, The United Nations General Assembly, and Dreamforce, Salesforce’s annual user conference and the world’s largest nonprofit technology conference.
Prior to joining Salesforce, Rob worked at Oracle for four years and holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics from Gonzaga University, where he graduated cum laude. He is a self-taught musician and lives in Marin County with his wife and three kids.
